My son's 7th b-day cake. He wanted R2D2. WASC with strawberry whip cream filling. Legs are RKT. All covered in fondant and airbrushed with pearl sheen. I got many tips from other decorators pictures here on CC - thanks to all of you who have done this before me. I used 6" cakes for the body and half the Wilton ball pan for the top. It worked out pretty well and was a huge hit with the kids and parents at the party. No one wanted to cut poor little R2D2 up, well - except the kids who wanted cake - LOL. TFL
