I traveled to California to do this cake and while it was for a good friend of my husband's, I don't think I'll ever do a cake outside the state again. Luckily, we had come up with a pretty simple yet elegant design. Cakes are 14"/10"/6" tiers. Vanilla bean cake with fresh raspberry filling/Vanilla bean cake with fresh strawberry filling/carrot cake with vanilla buttercream filling. Cakes are covered in Ivory MMF. I used pearl luster dust to make the satin boarders and French Oyster dragees. White Calla lilies were all hand made and taken on the plane with me. So afraid I would lose some, but they survived the trip. TFL
