My first attempt making a shoebox cake! The shoe was made out of fondant and the vamp and back section were made of a Fondant/gumpaste mixture. In hindsight I would have done the entire shoe with both as the fondant never really hardened even after drying for 4 days. The lid of the box is made of styrafoam and covered in Fondant. Tissue paper is made out of Fondant/Gumpaste. Cake is iced in ganache and coverded in Fondant.
