Wasn't thrilled with this cake, but it came out ok. Wanted to do something to honor my brother/sister-in-law's first anniversary. Tried to make my first red velvet from scratch, but didn't use no-taste red (BIG mistake!) LOL. So feeling defeated, but not enough to give up, I did the cake again with just a yellow mix, white icing, red gel drizzles and red heart candies. They were happy and grateful. I suppose that's what really counts!
