Practice Swiss Meringue Buttercream on Cake Central

I wanted to try a BC recipe with just butter and not shortening so I found this swiss meringue butter cream recipe and decided to try it. It makes 3 cups of frosting and only uses 1 cup of sugar! Its not as sweet but tastes just heavenly! Almost like cool whip. My only problem with it is that it doesn't crust and stays as soft as room temp butter. I may use this as a filling but not to ice.
