I made this cake for my classroom (I teach 2nd grade) to celebrate Chinese New Year. I printed off the Chinese characters to say "Gung Hey Fat Choy" (the Chinese version of Happy New Year kind of) and made a buttercream transfer. Unfortunately they characters smeared when I added the red icing behind them. The cake was very uneven as well, but I figured the kids wouldn't care.
