This was my entry in the Threadcakes contest last summer. The original t-shirt design was just the lion who ate a child. I decided to make a complete carausel so I tried to think of other ways an animal could maim a child. In the end I decided on an elephant sitting on a kid and a snake swallowing a child whole. The animals were made from fondant/gumpaste mix. I believe the I used 10" rounds for the top and bottom sections (the top section was carved) and 6" rounds for the middle section.
