My first shoe box cake. I can't beleive it took so long. The clients' wife loves Chanel, so I decided to create a fantacy shoe based on a real Chanel shoe. Making this cake was deceptively easy. I did a google search for the shoe template and found another one here on CC. The pearls are just fondant balls on a string and i cut the canel logo using the letter cutter then put a string through that (with a needle) The cake is red velvet with caramel pecan flavored cream cheese filling. The lid is also cake (with board underneath) . I just stacked on one top of the other and ruffled some white fondant for the middle. I painted the box with food color instead of coloring the fondant.
