10" almond and "dulce de leche" cake with buttercream & fondant icing. Gumpaste calla lilies (my first). I did this cake for a American Heart Association bake sale for the office, it was raffle for $1.00 a ticket and we collected $65.00 and you are not going to believe this I won it! I did not want to play, but in the begining of the raffle there was only a few raffle tickets bought and I felt bad and decided to buy one just to help out. I went back to my office and 3hrs later they call me to tell me I won, I did not want the cake and wanted them to raffle it again but the organizers decided not to do it, they felt I donate the cake with good will and that God was rewarding me. I took the elevator up to my office and a lady comes in from another floor and says "What a beautiful cake!", I tell her the story and she offers to buy it and gives me $40.00 for it (that was all she had in cash) she said the cake was worth more than that and was elated to have the cake for some of affair she was having that night. I guess God works in misterious way.
