This was also my first time doing the petit fours. Sponge cake dipped in poured fondant. It's sooo cute, but way too sweet for my taste. They're awesome to look at, but not good to eat unless you love pure sugar. The recipe called for simple syrup with melted fondant. If anyone has a better tasting recipe, please contact me!
