A teacher friend got married and asked me to do a little wedding-type cake for her to take to her class (instead of inviting a bunch of little kids to the wedding!). Her real wedding cake (done by her SIL, a professional) was chocolate fondant with tangerine colored fondant roses, so we thought we'd do something similar but more fun for the kids. It was my first attempt at making fondant and it was a disaster!! So the cake is iced in chocolate bc with (purchased) fondant accents.
