Desperate times call for desperate cakes! The story is that this company out in California had been trying to get into see a buyer about having their socks sold at this certain chain of stores. Many months went by without a returned phone call or email. So they decide to send the buyer a sock cake. Within about an hour of delivery, they got a phone call and an appointment to see the buyer! The buyer said never in his years had someone gone to such creative lengths to get an appointment. How could he not grant them an meeting? I am glad he had a sense of humor!
