This was for my sister-in-law (collector of Coach purses). I made a replica of one of her purses. Yellow cake covered with white fondant then added the "patchwork" over the top of the first layer of fondant. The buckle and strap loops were gumpaste painted with edible gold ink. She didn't realize it was a cake for awhile because it was sized the same too.
