Just an 'ikkle 5" chocolate cake for an acquaintance who had her first baby last week! The lion was embossed straight onto the cake with a Patchwork cutter, then I dusted the colour on - and finished by piping his mane with royal icing, then painted it gold with edible lustre and confectioner's glaze.
