Here is a cake that I just wanted to try that I saw on CC. It was a first for me on a lot of levels.I had a lot of trouble w/putting the wires into the cake so that they would be protected from leaving any remnent in the cake(my first concern)and so they didn't slice thru the cake which they did. I put the wire into a straw that I pushed into the cake but the weight of the discks of fondant attached to the wire I believe weighted them down causing the straw to break thru the cake as well. Any suggestions?
