I finally figured out that I can tint and decorate with Penuche Icing! Nothing fancy but a real eye-opener for me.

The cake looks really delicious. The colors are great. Is it hard to decorate with penuche icing. It seems like you would have to decorate rather quickly because it hardens as it cools.
You're not kidding that you have to be quick! But you can always add a little hot water to soften it up if you're a little slow. I was thrilled to find that I could tint it. It's not as hard to work with as I would have thought. You have alot of control over its consistency as long as you're quick (as you mention!)
