Critique Subgroup Member. The cake does look simple and child-like. It reminds me of a homemade wooden toy and in that sense, you did just what the customer asked for. I do see a few edges that could be straighter and the BC could be smoother in a few places, but I like the simplicity of the cake. Is that tread marks on the front tire? Cute.
critique subgroup member: I am sure Kenny was beyond thrilled with his cake this year. What a one of a kind treat. I think your colors are spot on. Your lines around the windows are very straight. This could not have been too easy to carve, yet you did a really good job. My only critique might have been to make the board more of a grass green, but I am board challenged  , so others might not agree with that. You did a nice job.
Critique subgroup members: It looks just like a wooden block toy! It reminds me of a cake from some work Mary Ford did in the early 80's The piece is called Ricki. I will send a PDF to you PM on Monday. As for the board, I would have went yellow to compliment the wheels and imply dried corn stalks.
Critique Subgroup Member: Within the customer's constraints, I think you did a fine job! It looks like a toy, which is what I'd suppose they were wanting. Good job!
critique member: I can see why you do not favor this cake...it IS simple..but very cute! you did what was asked! I really love the color of the tractor. other than a few bc boob-boos this DOES look like a toy! Have you ever used the crusting bc for your sculpted cakes? it allows you to manipulate the bc with the paper towel to form right to your shape. I think your windows and your tires are very nice and i am impressed by the fact that you got the tractor up off of the board. Nice work!
Critique Subgroup Member: very cool- it does look just like a wooden tractor! I like the color of the board- I think it compliments the design of vintage. Nice work! :)
Critique subgroup member: I wonder why they think a 4 year old can't hang with something that looks "real"! Whatever! :? You gave them what they wanted and I think you did a great job. I would have just made it a bit more rounded on the actual cab but it looks great!!!!!
Critique Subgroup Member. This is great. Your shapes and colors are perfect for this cake. I agree that the blue board threw me off a bit, but you couldn't go with green grass because that would have been WAY too much green overall. Good job on the writing and on the straight lines (windows, etc.) ;-D
Critique Subgroup Member: I bet Kenny loved his cake and yes it does remind me of a wooden toy! You gave the customer exactly what they were looking for! Other than for a couple of spots where the bc could have been a little bit smoother it looks great! :D
Critique Subgroup Member; Except for the BC boo boos it looks great. I'll bet the child loved it. I always try to give the customer what they want. Great carving and detail on it. By the way I had one of these as a kid! I really like the fact that you picked it up off of the board, most people won't go that detail ;-D Great job.
Critique Subgroup Member: I agree - you made exactly what they wanted! I like how you raised it off the board. The tire tread detail is great and the colors are spot on! :)
