It's the cream colored fondant that I think really makes this cake .... adds SO much to the look of a sandy beach with shells. I would bet that you think the 'border' on the cakes looked horrible .... 'coz I'm looking at them imagining if I put them on the cake without the shells, it would look "not good". But with the shells and the coloring, it looks just like coral growing wild underwater. I really like this cake.
