This cake was requested for a retirement party for a mechanic of 30 years. I baked 2- half sheet vanilla cakes, cut 7 inches off each and the left over pieces I trimmed to fit and placed in the middle. I got all of my inspiration from cakes that I saw here on CC. Hopefully I will get the chance to make another and it will have more detail. I just simply ran out of time. The tools are fondant and the tools and toolbox was air-brushed.
