Thank you! I just used a pizza cutter to cut strips for the swirls and then twisted them into scroll / swirl shapes.

Thanks! The bride purchased the topper- I'm not sure where she bought it. If I get the chance I will have to ask her and let you know.

Beautiful! I like the flat, wider scroll work-different than you usually see and very elegant. What sizes are the tiers?

The tiers are 6", 10", and 14". Each tier is approximately 4 1/4" high. Thanks for all of your nice comments!

I think this is soo pretty! I really like your flat scrolls. I read how you cut strips and twist to shape but how do you do that and get it on the cake. Just trying to figure that out for myself, with little success Imight add. Love the cake!!

Thanks again for all of the nice comments! When I made fondant strips and twisted them into shape, I let them dry a little on a cutting board before adding them to the cake, so they kept their shape. I made a whole bunch of swirls at a time, so by the time I needed a break from making the swirls (after about 10-15 minutes), the swirls I made at the beginning were a little stiffer and ready to add to the cake. I didn't let them dry all the way because it helped if they were still slightly flexible.
