House Cake For Habitat For Humanity Event

I just finished this (its 1am) and I wanted to share! Its for my employer's volunteer effort for Habitat to welcome our families. I think I should have practiced before I did the final cake, I wasn't prepared for the challenges I ran into, and I am hoping it makes it to work in one piece! I am pretty happy with how it turned out, but next time I will do some things a little different!!

Thanks for the comments!! One of the things I learned...definately make sure to have the proper support for the houses! I thought I had more dowels than I did and had to make some up, but they weren't strong enough to keep the houses from tipping. Also, next time I would probably use fondant rather than buttercream to cover the houses, BC was very messy!!
