This cake was made as a donation for a gala. Very rich chocolate cake from scratch w/ chocolate ganache with modeling chocolate around the outside. A strip of fondant with modeling chocolate squares to make the "film". I used blown sugar balls and poured sugar for the decorations on top. I made my own mold for the main part of the display (first time doing that!) and used cookie cutters in the hart shape for the rest. I actually made two of these.. One sold for $200, the other for $275 for a great cause
