Cupcakes Again - Second Attempt

Second attempt at cupcakes. This time using the Decorator's buttercream recipe from CC. Don't know what the problem is, but the buttercream turned out a little grainy, too soft (added the milk all at once.. should have paced it..), and too sweet. Disappointed at the results. Thanks for looking anyway.

the grainy is your powder sugar. Try another brand. Some sugar companys have raised their corn starch formula giving you a grainy frosting that will not break down no matter how much milk you may add or how long you mixit..
