Critique Group Member: I agree.. I think the lights would look more realistic if they had the end caps and if they were fatter towards the bottom and tapered up. It a very nice cake and I think much better than dirty snow..

critique subgroup member: Very cute idea! I am wondering if the lights would have had a more realistic look if you would have added the little green plastic cap the holds them to the wire???

critique subgroup member: It's adorable! I love the little lights and the bright colors you used. The piping looks like it might have been thicker at one point where it might have had air in the bag but that is the only little thing I could see where critique would be concerned. ;)

critique group member: What a cute idea. I like how the strings of lights coil around...like real ones would. My only critique would be that the shape of the lights themselves seem a little "off" to me. I am wondering if they'd look more realistic made out of fondant or even RI.

Critique subgroup member: What a great idea for a cake. I agree that maybe fondant bulbs would have been great but if time was an issue then this is wonderful just the way it is.

Critique Group Member: Wow ~ the rest of the group picked up on things I didn't even notice. They've got good eyes. I'm a stickler on pushing down points and I didn't even notice it. The whole cake overall is really cute. I like the colors you chose.

Critique group member: Great design, Tramski - love the top. Agree with a few of the others on the shape of the lights (glad to see you included yellow and blue lights). I think the bottom border of lights distracts from the wonderful design on the top. Maybe this could have been simple piping (?).
