This is chocolate buttercream and I used the Viva papertowel method for smoothing, The pink decoration is buttercream and the ribbon is satin ribbon. I got this order to late to make a fondant bow, so i stressed a little bit about the bow being made of satin ribbon so I sprayed a little starch several times on the bow and it made it stiff. i put a piece of clear plastic wrap under the bow so the starch wouldn't touch the cake!
