Autumn Flowers
This is the first cake I've made with absolutely no planning. Just did it and I have to say, it really shows. :) I'm not sure what I was thinking with those weird 3-layered flat flowers. LOL. It was for a funeral and I thought I should just make it look autumn-ish -- should have just tried leaves again. I'm fairly happy with the piped borders, though. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, y'all, for being so nice. I started not to put the photo up on CC at all. I'm really glad you think it looks okay, :D since it still took me soooo long (six hours -- am I nut?). I'm very slow and hope, with time, I'll get faster.
8) your cake is very unique specially those 3D flowers looks great and unique, good job to be the first one it was worth the time spent, you're very creative and unique keep up that good work and you will go to competition to get the first place and because you're very creative you'll get the first place well done :lol:
I really like this idea. What did you use to make the flowers? I haven't gotten past buttercream and royal icing so am looking to learn more.
