Uugh. I tried a new buttercream recipe for this cake and it turned out awful! I had to put the scrollwork on the sides to hide the oozing buttercream. It kind of just slid to the bottom of the cake. Also, the roses just didn't turn out. I know not to use this icing again! This cake wasn't for any special occasion...just made it for my aunt and grandma's visit. It was delicious! (Darn Good Chocolate Cake!)
