I buy the fondant from Almondart.com it is called "white fondant" the roses are small sausages rolled slightly flat with a rolling pin and then just rolled into shape. Thank you for your nice comments.
I'm ready to give a ladies luncheon just so I can make these cupcakes. They're beautiful! Will you share your technique of making such lovely, round cupcakes? Thank you in advance!
MaryAllison: try see under the other photo for hints. Nicoles-a-trying: The fondant is a bit sticky but not runny. When you heat it in the microwave it becomes runny.
These are beautiful! Did you dip or pour?
They look flawless and so elegant.
Thanks! I dip the cupcakes in the fondant twice for an even coat.
This picture belongs in a cookbook! They are very pretty and so uniform. Did you use Wilton's poured fondant recipe?
No, this one is one that I have bought. But I have tried to make it myself only it will not get total white but its ok to use. Try see on Baking 911.
