Not my idea (blue hearts!) but I was pleased with the simplicity of it. The topper was made at the VERY last minute (chocolate) The first two were broken by my husband and daughter. Yikes!
thanks! I used Italian meringue buttercream, the recipe out of the whimsical bakehouse book. I find it MUCH easier to smooth. If people don't like the overwhelming butter taste, I mix it half and half with my regular bc, it's awesome!
