What type of icing did you use? It looks so perfectly flawless; how did you get it that way?

thanks! I used Italian meringue buttercream, the recipe out of the whimsical bakehouse book. I find it MUCH easier to smooth. If people don't like the overwhelming butter taste, I mix it half and half with my regular bc, it's awesome!
