A cake I made for the family get together. Thought I would practice painting on fondant.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!! That is absolutely amazing! The sides of the cake are stunning. Did you freehand everything or did you use a stencil?

wow I looked at all the panels - they're amazing! you just used food color & a paintbrush on fondant? did you freehand all of that? I'm very impressed!

I did free hand everything except the star which I made an impression on the fondant with a cookie cutter. Yes it is wilton gel mixed with some lemon extract. Thanks so much, I'm glad you like it.

It's funny you should say that Daisy1993, I'm actually an artist who took up cake baking and decorating...lol.
