This cake for a bridal shower where all I was told was, "Her colors are mint green and chocolate brown." I used a wonderfully fudgy tasting chocolate for the cornelli lace and mongram. I don't do fondant (yet), so, I used real ribbon. The mint green icing is buttercream.
It looks beautiful, well done. So neat and smooth :D
Wow! Absolutely gorgeous
And well you should be....BEAUTIFUL !!
Lovely cake! How did you do the beautiful monogram?
You did a great job! I love the color combination. How is your buttercream so smooth? :)
Beautiful cake. The fudgy chocolate sounds nice
You should be proud! It is beautiful!
very beautiful! I put this in my favorites!!
Great job..the lace is perfect and the 2 colors together look great
wonderful job on the monogram and the chocolate cornelli is fabulous
abolutely beautiful! love this cakke. Straight into my favorites
I use the Viva paper towel method to smooth my icing. And, I used a template made with piping gel allowed to dry for the monogram. It is like using a rubber stamp when the piping gel dries. Then you just fill in the impression it leaves.
