Graduation Cake For Patrick
Made this for my sisters best friends grandson's graduation from high school. It is a butter cake with chocolate cream filling.
I made almost the whole cake and then was told the school colors were wrong so I had to take it apart and start all over! Yikes! Because of that the icing didn't come out very smooth :-(

The hat is made from fondant. Very easy to make. Just took a 5 inch pan and wrapped a strip of fondant around it. Then cut out a square of fondant. Let the fondant dry then added it to the bottom. The tassle is done with a clay gun.
