This cake was made with a 10 inch contour cut in half. Iced in buttercream and covered in fondx with fondx accents. It was bought by a young man for a New Orleans evacuee. I hope that she likes it.
After twisting the fondx, I made the curve and let the handle dry overnight. After drying, I simply stuck to flower wires into each end and inserted the wires into the cake. If you let your handle dry long enough you shouldn't have a problem Thanks for the comment!

Thanks Patela! The cake was free because the recipient was a Hurricane Katrina evacuee and I wanted to do something nice for her. However, if I were making this same cake now I would probably charge 60-75 dollars.
