Retirement
I made this for an Air Force retirement celebration. Buttercream with fresh strawberrys in middle. MMF accents. It's hard to tell how big this cake is in the picture but it can feed at least 100 people.

Its absolutely fantastic! You're right that it is deceiving..it looks like a regular size cake..now that we know its the house pan..wow..thats a big cake!! Awesome job..
great idea! I love the strip of mowed lawn!!
Very nice work!
Very cute! Great job.
That's great! I love the little lawnmower!
I love this one! Good job! Mom will be here Friday and can't wait to see it. :
I love it!!! Such great detail, how did you get the wood grain look on the doors and shingles?
That is too cute! What a clever idea, and a perfect lawnmower. Love the other details too.
So cute! I just saw the lawnmower close up before. Your details are stunning! Love the mowed areas, cobblestones and coiled hose. And those fabulous shingles! Is the house a cake too?
This is toooo cute!!!! love the lawnmover!!!!
WOW! how did you make the lawn mower??? wonderful job!
Thanks so much for the nice comments :) I get the wood grain by mixing two different shades of brown fondant with white. The house is a cake from a wilton house pan. I put two dowels in the main cake to hold it up. This was fun to make but lots of work. It took me all day to do it. I'm glad it's finally finished!:)
It is so cute Love the litlle lawnmover.
wow!!! besides the lawn mower, the sidewalk looks too awesome!
So cute, great details.
This cake is fantastic, would you mind if I had a go at making it? as I thought it would be good as a welcome to your new home cake too :)
