Easter Basket
Chocolate cake with rum filling and icing. Handle is royal icing. This was my son's first cake. I showed him on paper how to do the basket weave and off he went. Followed all recipe directs and I think did a super job. The cake was set in the front window for the picture and my grandson (my son's son) walked by right at the time the pic was being taken. Had to color him out - that's the brownish coloring through the handle. LOL
Your son did a fantastic job!!!! The basketweave looks very nice and the handle turned out really nice too. I bet it tasted good too.
Thanks!!! I was totally shocked he did a handle!! He did 2 & put them together so it would be round and not flat on one side. And YES, it was yummmmmy!!!
