I've never made a decorated cake before... but as I was looking at cake toppers, I got so fascinated it the baby shoes.. and thought, "I could do that!" well.. one thing lead to another... and I decide to do the entire cake! It's a carrot cake with crusting cream cheese frosting. The booties, bib flowers - all made out of marshmallow fondant. I'm pretty happy with it - wish I did the shoes darker pink.. but once I plopped them on.... no way were they coming back off!
