Fondant Pink and Brown Cake
Ruffles of brown striped "fabric" with a pink eyelet "fabric" top draped over it. Fondant baby shoes surrounded by gumpaste roses, leaves and tiny flowers.
the hem look actually came from taking the largest icing tip available and turning it upside. the skinniness of the metal made it easier to create a scallop. then, inside each scallop, i used one of the small round tips as a sort of "cookie cutter" to cut out the eyelet holes. then i sued a petal tip to create a sort of stamped leaf on either side of the cut eyelet area. the hem look came from piping tiny little dots around the bottom of the scallops...tiny ones. thanks for the compliments. what ...
