The cake and stump are yellow cake covered in buttercreme and fondant. The stump was rolled with a thick layer of fondant so that I could carve details into it. The star at the top is rice crispies treat covered in fondant. I coat the rice crispie in a thin layer of buttercreme so that the fondant adheres cleanly with less bumps from the cereal.

The ornaments are M&M candies with a bit of icing at the top as the ornament's fastener.
