I did this cake for a friend's baby shower. I learned a lot about fondant, especially to bring extra. And I learned not to place a cake in sunlight because by the time it came to serve it, the arm had fallen off. 3-D bear pan on top of a 1/2 sheet.
I've always wanted to make this cake!!!!!!!! I fell in love with it since I first saw it in the Wilton magazine. You did an excellent job!!!!!!! Your friend must have been really happy!

Absolutely Adorable!!!!! Did you roll fondant balls for the blanket. Really cute.
No, it's a flat "sheet" of fondant. Then I piped different colors of buttercream on with tip #362. Time consuming but well worth it.
This is so cute. I love the mobile in the corner.

She was very happy. I know I could've done better on the corners of the "crib" but overall it came out pretty well. Thank you for the compliment.
