This is actually a christening cake, but I couldn't find that category, so I uploaded it in first communion. This was quite a challenge because it was hand sculpted and as the corners of the pillows have nothing to rest on, I had to make sure it all stuck together well and didn't start falling apart! The baby on top, with the water-lily flower is made of cold porcelain, just because it is more durable and the baby's Mum wanted to keep the topper. The bottom cake is chocolate mud and the top cake is white chocolate cake, both covered and filled with the white and dark chocolate ganache accordingly.
