I have made cakes for others that I only haven't gotten to eat, except for sampling the cut off pieces. I wanted a cake for MYSELF. It is a simple white cake with white buttercream. I didn't want it to be perfect, I just wanted to eat a piece. I had made royal icing squigglies and had nothing to do with them so they got put on. Needless to say I ate one pice and was satisfied. I then gave it to my son and his neighbor.
