Yeah, this thing kicked my @$$...

For size comparison, that's a 12" chess board cake. The chess pieces were made form 8" and 6" cakes and the tops were rice cereal treats. Small chess pieces were molded chocolate, which took much more time than expected! Will definitely use fondant/gumpaste next time!
