I took the idea of the Rose Tower cakes I have seen here and worked it into a smaller version (since I am a newbie to fondant cakes). This is a chocolate cake w/ raspberry buttercream and then covered in fondant. The fondant roses are attached with royal icing. The butterflies are just decorations attached to wires that I found at Michaels. This cake was for an 80th birthday. It was fun to make and I learned a lot!
