Fish Cake

I made this cake for my husband's grandfather's 80th. The fish is from a Collette's Cakes book, and I owe special thanks to LAJUANA for much-appreciated assistance with this cake. I had originally planned to just cover a cakeboard and make it look like wood, but then realised there wouldn't be enough cake for everyone, so decided to do a cake under the fish. It was massive. 14 inches long, 9 inches wide and about 2.5 inches high, so I had to roll the fondant out more than 19 by 14 inches. It was almost the end of me, which is a bit of a worry as I'm just a beginner! The bottom cake is choc mud with dark choc ganache, and the fish is white choc mud with white choc ganache. I hope he likes it!
