This was one of those cakes. lol, it just wanted to collapse on me. Like an idiot, I didn't dowel the bottom tier, OR use a circle under the 6". And hubby designed this cake, wanted the top tier sitting on the back of the bottom tier. Of course it started to sink. LOL! This is after I had my center dowel in. So I frantically lifted the 6", awkwardly poked one dowel into the back of the bottom tier and cut a half circle out of a serving platter.. Slid it under.. LOL! Anyways, it didn't collapse. Yay! The bottom was fudge cake with boston cream filling, the top was amaretto latte with layers of coffee buttercream and amaretto buttercream. Thank you gourmet flavors post!! All MMF, unfortunately Spidey is wax, no time for fondant!
