I was asked to make this by a neighbor for his wife's 40th. He wanted a "simple, elegant, beautiful cake that reminds her of spring, youth, and beauty." I guess the skunk that says "40 stinks" is out! So this was Plan B. The calla lily represents magnificent beauty and rebirth, for what it's worth :) The cake is covered in vanilla buttercream. The flowers are fondant dusted with pearl dust. I added a sheer ribbon for effect. Thanks for looking!
