Gross?? Absolutely!! This is by far one of the weirdest cakes I have ever made. I received a request for a heart cake for a science project. Not just any "heart". But an "anatomically correct" one. I talked my client out of the red velvet flavor!! lol... I really had a hard time letting this one go! It was yellow butter cake, brushed with Parrot Bay rum, filled with pineapple, coconut and Italian meringue buttercream. Thanks for peeking.
