Last year I taught my self to decorate cakes because I wanted to give my two sons, Clayton (8) and Gavin (5) unique birthday cakes. They were always asking for cakes that we couldn't buy from the store. Both their birthdays are in October hence the Halloween theme. I can't find the cake that inspired this cake, but thank you. This cake is totally edible, the only thing I did not make was the candy corn on the sides. I sculpted the figures and pumpkins from fondant. The cakes are dyed green and orange.
