I made this for a baby shower last weekend. The cake is three layers of the Sour Cream Fudge cake in Baking Illustrated. Icing is Italian Meringue Buttercream. Thanks to everyone who posted photos of their rubber ducky cakes ... I was so inspired by all of you!
Thanks for all your comments, guys! The ducks are rubber ... I thought about trying to mold fondant duckies, but I have never done it before and I wanted the ducks to look perfect for this cake. Maybe I will practice molding fondant duckies for the next time I make this cake (if there is a next time). For the bubbles, I used a 1A tip, I believe. If I would have had more time, I would have tried making some smaller bubbles, too, but I was up against a deadline due to a last-minute icing coloring fiasco. :)
This is so very cute - great job! What tip did you use for the bubbles?

How cute is that?!!!? Are the ducks fondant or rubber?
Very cute!
Ohh, I bet she loved it!
Sorry, I just double-checked and it was a Wilton 12 tip for the bubbles. :)
