Attached is a picture of a cake from 2005 ICES convention album, i love
the way the boarder is done(balls). Am planning to do something similar
for my wedding in December, i need help on how to do the golden ball, they look so real.

You form these out of fondant, let dry, then put in a container and add the dust color you want and shake container. Or, you can paint them individually. You can purchase "gold" luster dust at any cake supplier shop, like www.beryls.com

How to you make the balls the same size? I am not familiar with all those molds.. Is there one to make perfect balls?

I use icing tip...they sell large ones...check out Earlenes site she has some of the bigger ones...make them the same way you make your fondant pearls...use the tip to cut and then roll them.

The instructions available on the www.cakesbysam.com website said to use a large tip as a cutter to make uniform pieces that you then roll into balls. icon_biggrin.gif

does someone have a receipe for the soft edible pearls, not fondant. but these are soft I know earlenes carry them. but i would like the receipe. To make them would be boring but a big stress reliever.
